In-House Brake Disc Skimming
Juddering or vibrating brakes? We skim discs on our own lathe while you wait – R450 for a front set, R350 for a rear set.

A steering-wheel shudder or pedal pulse under braking usually means the discs have run out of true or worn unevenly. If there is enough thickness left, skimming restores a flat, true braking surface for a fraction of the price of new discs.
We skim in-house on our own brake lathe, so there is no waiting for an outside machine shop. Every disc is measured against its minimum thickness first – if it is too thin to skim safely, we tell you and quote new discs instead.
